2023 Top 10: Toddler (1-2 years old) Easter Basket Play

These ideas can supplement candy choices or act as all the items in kiddo’s Easter basket!

1. Hopping Chick

A small toy but a powerhouse for entertainment, the hopping chick helps develop fine motor skills as well as delight in where it will end up!

2. Easter sidewalk chalk

The weather is starting to warm up, which means outside play will be in full force soon! These sweet chalk shapes are both adorable and functional.

3. Farm

This farm is a bit bigger than the other items on this list, but provides entertainment for hours. It has 3 settings with different interaction levels and the option to turn off the sound all together.

4. Construction Site: Spring Delight Book

This book is specifically geared toward spring and Easter egg hunts but does not have religious references. There are hidden panels on each page for kiddo to find with special spring surprises under each one!

5. Egg decorating craft

A great way to involve kiddo in decorating- the egg spins so all kiddo has to do is hold the marker in place to create lines/designs!

6. Dot marker book

This coloring book has various Easter animals with dot outlines, which help kiddos practice fine motor skills as well as color identification! The dot markers are a good way to minimize potential coloring messes.

7. Matching eggs

This egg set has matching shapes in each egg half, allowing kiddo to practice shape recognition and aligning each shell.

8. Carrot harvest puzzle

This puzzle has different size carrots for kiddo to determine how they all fit within the puzzle. Do be aware that the smallest of these is a choking hazard, so either take it out of the rotation or only use when supervised if a smaller sibling is present.

9. Bubbles

These dispensers are a fun way to provide bubbles and blowing practice to kiddo!

10. Basket!

You can’t forget the basket! While there are many options and styles of baskets, consider getting one that can grow with kiddo throughout their years.
