THE MOTHERS DAY BOOK

The Mother’s Day book requires purchase of a spiral-bound, blank page notebook. Ideally, get one that has a hard cover and is 8X11 inches.

Each year, you’ll make a ‘title page’ of the year and a great picture of mom with the kiddo(s). We make a handprint of each kiddo on this page to show their growth, which they love doing!

The following pages are flexible- we print out a couple pictures for each kiddo, and we like to have each kiddo decorate a page as their ‘card’ to mom. If anyone gets mom a card, it gets taped into the book for that year. We also ask kiddo what they want to tell mom and write it as a quote in the book.

Finally, we ask kiddo the same questions each year and record their answers. The questions are:

• How old are you?
• How old is your mom?
• What do you call your mom?
• What’s something your mom says to you all the time?
• What’s the best thing about your mom?
• What’s something silly your mom does?
